Today’s Not All News is Bad (NANIB) is different. It’s not a news story plucked from the headlines.
Instead, coming back from a hiatus, today’s news is completely personal. Two days before Thanksgiving, I took a very hard fall that required emergency surgery (cervical fusion), a week’s stay in the hospital, and in-home recovery ever since.
The good news is that recovery has exceeded my expectations, and I’m back.
Normal NANIBs resume tomorrow, but I couldn’t help but share my own story as the first one on my return.
Leo, Glad to see that you’re back. I’ve sorely missed NANIB!
Not such a long hiatus, considering the circumstances.
Glad to have NANIB back.
And hey: watch your step, OK?
Thank goodness you are all right now, Leo! Count your blessings.
As one of your many long time readers, I think I speak for many others when I say we sincerely appreciate you and your efforts to bring us good news articles.
So glad you are back and healing nicely!
Thankful for your recovery. Glad you’re back.
Missed you a bunch — glad to hear all is “well”
Genuinely glad you are better . Thanks for all you do.
Leo, Keep healing and do all of your exercises. I to have had cervical and lumbar fusions. I am not as mobile as I once was, but far more than the doctors thought. I missed NANIB and pass it on to many of my friends. Your publication is one of the bright lights in today’s world.
Cheers, MJG Longmont, CO
Leo, so glad you are recovered! We need you and appreciate all you do. Stay safe
