Captain Tom Moore, a 99-year-old WWII veteran, is walking 100 laps around his garden during the Coronavirus pandemic to raise money for the UK’s National Health Service.

    He originally started doing it with the aim of completing 100 laps of his garden to celebrate his upcoming 100th birthday, and says he will continue as long as the money continues coming in. Current members of his former regiment turned up to form an honour guard as he completed the 100th lap.
