I’ve heard of programs like this before. While it’s sad that teachers have to reach into their own pockets so often, it’s very cool to see this independent solutions pop up as well.

I think many Uber drivers, as well as other ride sharing and cab services, deserve a lot more appreciation and respect than they sometimes get.
